Tenderhearted Career Solutions for Transgender & Transitioning Clients

Presenter: Ebony C. Peace

No federal law consistently protects transgender people from discrimination. They continue to lose their jobs over issues unrelated to performance and experience undue hardship and stress while job searching. With many employment challenges, a transgender person may seek your help in reaching their career goals while simultaneously coping with the emotional and physical challenges of gender dissidence. In this session, you will learn the employment landscape for transgender and transitioning clients and strengthen your competency in supporting this diverse population with compassion and grace.
