NCDA's Diversity Committee is hard at work behind the scenes, creating new content and promoting efforts to make our field more representative of our clients.  Emily Frank has been on the committee for 3 years. She will share the new directions and initiatives the Committee is focused on, including trans-friendly spaces and identifying employers who support employees from underrepresented groups. Presenter Bio: 

Emily is a professional career counselor with over 15 years of experience, and a certified career coach and Myers-Briggs Master Practitioner.  She also spent 4 years living, studying, and working in Japan.  She is also a social justice advocate who believes everyone deserves career success.  She helps people find meaningful work and define success for themselves.  She also coaches on resumes, cover letters, interviewing, salary negotiation, and workplace self-advocacy.

In addition to meeting with individuals, Emily also offers speaking and group workshops.  Her areas of specialization are diversity ad inclusion, international work, creative fields, and inter-office communication.
