Presenter Bio:   Paula Battalia Brand is a Global Career Coach and Founder of Brand Career Management (BCM).  In November 2022, she released her first book titled The Purple Parachute: A Woman’s Guide to Navigating the Winds of Career Change.  

Paula has combined her expertise in career counseling, human resources, workforce development and training facilitation to inspire thousands of professionals to take charge of their careers.   She provides career advising to organizations and individuals and has a passion for empowering women in their careers.

Her education includes a master’s degree in applied psychology from the University of Baltimore, and four industry certifications.  Paula is a past President of the Maryland Career Development Association (MCDA).  She has received the Professional Contributions Award from MACCA and MCDA’s Outstanding Career Practitioner Award. 

On a personal note, she loves to travel.  She has been to 29 places on six continents and often travels in a Winnebago Fuse motorhome with her husband of 30 years.
